Situated on the water's edge, The Lake House is every naturalist's dream.  Escape into nature, surrounded by nothing more than flower filled fields and the wide open sky.

The Lake House is best suited as a couple's retreat.  Ideally sized for 2 adults, it can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.  The mezzanine holds the 7 foot emperor bed, while a smaller ground floor bedroom holds two twin sized bunked beds.  

​

Unfortunately the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. The wet room, located on the upstairs level, includes a bathtub with separate shower.

​

A full kitchen is on the ground floor, fully stocked with all required dishes, cutlery, cups, towels, and cleaning materials. A provision of coffee, tea, and sugar is supplied. 

​

Our property is unique in that you have complete and utter solitude among 300 acres of glorious Devon countryside. We are NOT a commercial fishery, and only our guests are entitled to fishing our ponds.

We have over 5 km of nature trails following our conservation corridor, where deer,

barn owls, and all variety of wildlife thrive.

Booking tips:  

We are able to accommodate a range of booking options,

but typical check in/out days of Monday and Friday.

7 nights: Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday

4 nights: Monday to Friday

3 nights: Friday to Monday

Bookings outside of these days may be accepted with prior arrangement.

 

Maximum number of guests is 4 - sorry, no exceptions

Please note:

Langford Court is a working farm, we are unable to accommodate dogs or other pets.

The Lake House is a tech-free retreat. There is no tv or wifi.

Most mobile networks receive strong 4G reception should you wish to bring your own mobile wifi.
